Mablethorpe is a lively seaside resort with a superb Award
Winning beach, specialising in family holidays.
|
 |
|
Mablethorpe is a wonderful centre for families and senior
citizens who return again and again. Mablethorpe is not
particularly commercialised, and has the feel of a 1960s resort
but with a wealth of things for the visitor to do the Seal
Sanctuary and Nature Centre, play centres, funfairs and a super
range of charming shops to pick up that special memento.
|
 |
Mablethorpe has a beach that is long, wide
and flat with golden sand and separated from the town by a
narrow strip of large sand-dunes. |
 |
|
A sand train operates to take
visitors to the north end of the beach, where there is a small
animal sanctuary. So far Mablethorpe has remained immune from
the large caravan parks that now dominate resorts such as
Skegness and Ingoldmells, although some smaller ones do exist.
Mablethorpe has an excellent selection of cafes and restaurants,
bars and nightclubs all offering individual entertainment. Or
the beautiful parks and gardens, which are the pride of
Mablethorpe. |
